ME..what can I say..I am a ticking time bomb of ideas and random thoughts. as most artists are I suppose..catching those thoughts and trapping them in the form of paint on canvas is another story,,,..my work as a whole is always on a whim but meaningful..I am determined to do whatever it takes to find my true calling in the art world...on a whole I am a abstract/mixed media artist who loves anything brightly colored and funky.The majority of my pieces come from everyday life experiences and or dreams.I have been painting for 16 years, in anything from oils/acrylics to pastel chalks and pencils. My current media is acrylics, oil paint pens and collage work. I am very fond of all collage, altered and mixed media artists work.I have great respect for all artists who follow their dreams and live life as individuals, and just do what they feel. I live and breath all that is unique and different. I have a wonderful husband who has supported me through all that I have done or attempted to do..I am a free thinker and am always looking for new and creative ways to express myself...My promise to myself each day is to be BOLD and honest to all. Don't let negativity and drama keep you from smiling, be true to yourself and keep on going...Stand in your own light...Especially now in our current times...it is very easy to let all the bad news under your skin...But what remains ageless is Art and the Artists that continue to bring us all new perspectives and ways to enjoy life :) Thank you...I am glad to be one of you...

Hello fellow artists and visitors...
It seems like a lifetime since I have been back here to DA. I am proud to say I will be around more often. I have missed all the wonderful art and friends here. Since my last post in October my husband and myself have jumped state lines from CA to NV. We are now on the hunt for our country dream home. We are loving this beautiful state and all it has to offer. Nature is brilliant here. We are surrounded by mountains in all directions. It feels good to be take care of my Mother Nature.
